About two weeks ago my friend Caroline and I went to Valencia in Spain. It was a short but adventurous trip! The bus to the airport was late.. luckily we made it and Caroline even had time to buy chicken satay for take away (and yes the whole plane smelled like satay and fries). Anyway, we started a conversation with the woman sitting next to us, who had the most amazing stories. She traveled and lived around the globe (Cooks Islands, Australia and many more) and was now on her way to her second home to stay there for the winter, totally goals. This woman was definitely an inspiration!
Once arrived in Valencia the real adventure started. We wanted to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. However, due to certain circumstances (resolution for 2018: I will tell my stories (good and bad times) more personally and extensively!) we couldn’t stick to our initial plan. Anyway, we rented bikes (€10 per bike for 24h, super cheap!) and made our way to the City of Arts and Sciences, which has that alien out of space vibe. We also spent time at Marina Beach Club to relax, drink (we recommend: agua de València) and eat. Unfortunately, we did not make it to Old Town :(. Despite not having seen Old Town, we made the best of it and Valencia we will come back! Scroll down for pics.
